Slider Lite-Ball Pitching Machine

What is a Lite-Ball?   It is a ball that weighs about two ounces and is the same size as a baseball.  They are hard to throw accurately in batting practice but are great when coming out of the machine.  The ball needs to be hit well with a bat for it to travel very far, which is a great thing when playing indoors, and it will not break your jaw if you get hit in the face with one.  The ball will spin coming out of the machine which causes movement on the ball, even at short distances.  The ball can rise easily, which is why we use it at short distances.  The slider pitching machine unit can be turned to pitch curveballs or to just give slight movement to fastballs, which is what we do with it.  The ball is perfect for indoor use or for backyard play.  My kids will bring out the balls and have a smash-fest in our backyard with their friends over for an afternoon.  The balls hold up well but are subject to getting a little dirty when they get wet.  They can be easily cleaned with a moist rag and some soap to get them looking like new again.
