The Day The
Heater Pitching Machine Arrived
This Article describes the joy
of my kids and the easy setup experienced when we got our Heater Pitching
Machine.
I got home
from work and the empty box was there on the family room floor. My wife called
me during the day and said the Heater Pitching Machine had arrived and that the
kids were jumping out of their skins waiting for me to get home to help set it
up. I left a little early that day
so I could help to set it up, looking forward to a great evening with the boys
and got home to find no one in the house.
I walked
around the house for a minute, went upstairs to get changed and then came back
down to find out where everyone was.
I saw the note on the kitchen table – “Chuck, we are at the ball field
taking BP, Love, All of us”. I
thought, wow, this is unusual, but I headed up there right away to play with the
kids.
I figured
they wanted to use the new pitching machine a little and would be there
struggling to put it together.
I drove up the street to the ball field to find my wife sitting comfortably in
the stands with my youngest, who was only 1 at the time, and half of our neighborhood
taking turns hitting balls with the new machine. It was awesome! The kids were excited about it and were
running around shagging balls everywhere they were hit. They were taking turns loading the ball
feeder and then getting their swings in.
Each one got a 2-3 minute turn, got tired and then switched with the next
person.
I asked my
wife how she got the machine assembled and ready for them to use and she told me
that it came in a box, she opened it and setup the tripod, put the pitching
machine on top of the tripod, attached the ball feeder and headed for the ball
park. Not to
take anything away from my wife,
but she has never been mechanically inclined, I was impressed.
A great
product has to be easy to use, and this one was starting off very well. Click here to hear some of the
Advantages of Owning a Pitching Machine I think my kids have over players and
teams without pitching machines.
